NIS2 compliance for ship managers
Much of the evidence the National Cybersecurity Authority asks for overlaps with what the ISM Code, class rules and TMSA cover. Vardion keeps it once and gives each reader its own pack.
Every ship in one register
Each ship sits in the asset register with its IMO number, flag, class, Document of Compliance holder, onboard IT provider and satellite link. Vardion checks the IMO number and shows which ships fall under IACS UR E26 and E27, from each ship's type and the date it was contracted for construction.
One pack per reader
The pack follows the published crosswalk:
- for the authority, the articles of KYA 1689/2025, Greece's requirements decision;
- for the ISM auditor and the class society, the IMO functions and the BIMCO sections;
- for the charterer's TMSA 3 vetting, the Element 13 stages and Element 7.
Each row names the evidence you accepted for it and when, and a row without current evidence shows as open. Each pack downloads as a workbook.
When a bank account changes by email
Shipping companies lose money to a payment request that passes as yours and names new account details. Lookalikes of your domains and your DMARC setting show as one payment fraud path, with the next step and the payment change playbook.
Your NIS2 programme in the same place
The assessment against KYA 1689/2025, the appointment of the security officer the law requires (ΥΑΣΠΕ) and the incident reporting clocks run in the same workspace as your ships.
